Someday

Acquiescence

in the face
of contrary wisdom,

from what is,

We often use the word hope in a wistful manner that in the final analysis is more grasping, reaching for, and desiring from a restless soul, an unhappy heart trying to sublimate contentment with content.  
Hope in a more selfless context is the willingness and ability to imagine a listing ship of wrongs righted into seas of calm waters. We all understand to greater or lesser degrees the problems and issues that vex this planet of ours, and like it or not we are either participating in this or stepping up to the plate and making a difference, no matter how small or seemingly insignificant. The starting point for this hope is clarity of mind and heart, pure intention and willingness to act. I am willing hostage of hope.
